We are now in the 21st century, computer technology is limitless. Therefore, since most of us are using computers companies selling stuff used the idea of selling products over the internet and revolutionized it to better their advertisements and income. Not everyone can go to an actual store to buy stuff. Some are too busy from work, have no time, has limited time, is immobile, and so forth. That is why Superdrug, (a website for beauty products) have finally advertised their products over the internet. They designed a website that is customer friendly (that means that the consumer won’t have a problem looking for what they are looking for). They have categorized their items accordingly to their type.
Another example of businesses that have used the internet to advertise and to double their incomes is Waitrose online and Sainsbury’s online websites. They are supermarkets or big groceries that have an actual store but wanted to reach more people but advertising their products for those who do not have time to go to their actual store. If you have bought products from their actual stores everything in there is also made available over their website also categorized accordingly to avoid customers having a problem looking for their groceries.
After doing this according to these establishments their income doubled and they have more customers than when they have started with. This was clearly a strategic move they have gambled with but won the battle because designing and updating these websites are very expensive. But sales garnered from them are well worth it.
